I am here because after 21 years of being a stay at home mom, I am now going through a divorce and am flying by the seat of my pants in this new role.  Hubby took the family car and the bank account.  I've at least qualified for food stamps.  I have been looking for a year to find work, but it's a nightmare without a car and buses, friends and family only goes so far.  I'm afraid.  Actually I'm terrified at how I'm going to pull this off in supporting my 4 teenage kids. I'm here to see if there are any resources out there that I haven't found and to connect with other women out there who are in my situation.  Although, from my point of view, I feel that I am the only one going through this.  I need help, but I also believe in paying it forward and sharing anything I, too, have found along the way.  God bless everyone out there who truly needs help in all its various ways.
